The basic warranty is very comprehensive and quite impressive for this price range. Although there is an extended warranty offer available.
How heavy is the treadmill?
The product weight is 291 lbs, which is quite heavy. You will find that most high-performance treadmills are heavy as this helps with durability and stability. If you’re going to purchase this machine, then make sure you have a firm surface to put it on.
What is the maximum user weight?
The weight capacity for this machine is 350 lbs.
I don’t have an IFit subscription, what are the preset programs like?
The programs include 6 incline, 6 intensity, 6 calorie and 6 speed based workouts. This is excellent variety compared to other machines of the same price range.
Is it self-generating power?
No, you will need to plug this treadmill into a power source of 120 Volt, 60Hz.
How difficult is assembly?
We would recommend that you have someone to help you assemble the treadmill, although there aren’t many parts to put together they can be very heavy. It can all be done witha screw driver within the hour.
Is this considered a commercial grade machine?
This machine is specifically built for home use, but the frame and motor are of commercial grade. Meaning you get the performance and reliability of a treadmill you will find in your gym but with the convenience of a space saving machine.
Is this a quiet treadmill?

Does it have wheels to move it around?
Yes, although this is a heavy machine so we would recommend trying to keep it in one place and then seeking help if you need to move it.
Is this a good machine to train for a marathon?
Obviously, the best way would be to train in the same terrain as the marathon, but if you have bad weather or you don’t feel comfortable running outside you won’t find any better treadmill than this one. Especially if you have an IFit membership.
I am tall and my house has low ceilings what is the step-up height?
The step-up height is 6”, so add that to your height and check you can run at high speeds safely.
I am heavy does the belt slip?
Belt slipping on this model is very rare, if it happens it will be very slight and easily adjusted.
Does the treadmill fold easily?
Yes, very easily! The party trick of the Pro 2000 is its EasyLift Assist.
How tall is the treadmill when folded?
The Pro 2000 reaches 71” tall when folded, it does not fold completely upright just about 85% of the way.
Does it come with a heart rate monitor chest strap included?
No, probably one of the only areas we could mark this down in. Although with the popularization of wearable wrist band tech chest straps may be becoming a thing of the past.

I absolutely love this treadmill, for someone who likes to run fast and push the pace this is an excellent machine. Maintaining its performance whilst also being foldable is no easy feat, but it is of course the holy grail of foldable home treadmill features. In my opinion all treadmills these days must be up to date with the latest tech, it should sync up with your phone, tablet and apps. The ProForm Pro 2000 does this perfectly and for an exceptional price.
How could this improve? Maybe by integrating a touch screen browser that gives you more accessibility through the actual display. Also as a performance treadmill the addition of extra horsepower to the motor for the elite would be a clever move.
If you are looking to use this regularly getting an IFIt subscription will add to your experience, keep you motivated and help keep you entertained. Alternatively, the added tablet holder will help you use free guided workouts online or allow you to put on your favorite series whilst training.
